Types of Positions

Party Assistant (Sales Associate)
The heart of our store. You’ll help customers find everything they need, keep shelves stocked and organized, assist with balloon inflation, and make sure every person who walks through the door leaves excited for their event. No experience needed — just a great attitude.
Shift Lead / Key Holder
Ready for a little more responsibility? Shift leads support the management team, help open and close the store, and keep things running smoothly when the manager is out. Great stepping stone for future management roles.
Assistant Manager / Store Manager
Lead your store team, manage inventory, drive sales goals, and create the kind of shopping experience Zurchers is known for. We promote from within whenever possible — many of our managers started as party assistants.
Seasonal Positions
We hire seasonal help during our busiest times — especially around Halloween, Valentine’s Day, and graduation season. Seasonal roles are a great way to get your foot in the door.
Seasonal employees who shine are often considered first when full-time openings come up.

What is the hiring process like?
Apply online through our careers portal. If there’s a good fit, a store manager will reach out to schedule an interview. We try to keep the process simple and fast — we know your time is valuable.
Do I need retail experience to apply?
Not for most positions. A positive attitude and willingness to learn will take you far here. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about balloons, products, and our systems.
What are the store hours I’d be working?
Most locations are open Monday – Thursday 9AM – 8PM and Friday – Saturday 9AM – 9PM. We’re closed Sundays. Specific shift times vary by store and availability.
