Ordering

How do I place an order?

• Choose your product
• Upload your design or customize your item with our easy-to-use templates
• Add to cart and checkout
• Our team will review your order and get it into production
• We will send a confirmation with your order status and notify you when your order is ready for pickup or shipment.

What products can I customize?

We offer a wide range of custom products, including:

• Banners
• Yard Signs
• Posters & foam board signs

• Water bottle labels
• Button pins & printed arches

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantities vary by product. For example, button pins have a minimum order of 6. Please check the product description or contact us for details.

What is the process for customizing my order?

Once you place your order, you will receive a proof of your design for approval. Review the proof carefully and let us know if any changes are needed. Once approved, we will proceed with production.

Can I order products with different designs in one batch?

No — we allow one design per minimum quantity requirement for each type of product.

Lead Time & Rush Orders

What is your turnaround time?

Our standard turnaround time is 3–5 business days. If you're working within a time constraint, let us know when you submit your order — we'll check our production schedule to confirm your deadline can be met.

Are you open weekends & Holidays?

The Zurchers Print Shop is closed on weekends and holidays. Please plan accordingly — these days are not counted in production lead time

How far ahead should I order?

The earlier the better! Ordering about a week ahead allows us time to create a design and product you'll love without the stress. Need it quickly? Contact us directly for rush orders to ensure availability.

Help! I need my order ASAP

Need a custom print in under 3 business days? Select RUSH ORDER at checkout. Reach out to us immediately to confirm rush availability. A rush fee of $14.95 applies.

Design & Artwork

Can I upload my own image?

Yes! You can upload your artwork, logo, or image on the product listing page or email it to printshop@zurchers.com. Include any specific instructions or details with your file.

By submitting artwork, you confirm that:
1. You own the rights to the design, or have permission from the copyright/trademark owner
2. You are fully responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions
3. You release Zurchers from any liability related to copyright or trademark infringement
4. We do not print designs that violate copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws (e.g. Disney, Marvel, professional sports logos without permission).
5. We reserve the right to refuse any order.

Do you offer design services?

Yes! Each custom order includes 10 minutes of free graphic design. Have an idea? Upload an inspo picture — most designs can be recreated in that time. Our team will reach out if the artwork is too complex for the free time allotted.

Will I see a proof before printing?

Yes. You'll receive a proof to review before we print your order. No job goes to press without your approval. Review carefully — once approved, changes cannot be made.

File Requirements & Printing Guidelines

What file formats do you accept?

-JPG / JPEG
-PNG
-PDF
-TIFF
-AI or EPS (preferred for logos and vector artwork)

*Avoid screenshots, edited, or cropped images.

What resolution and size should my file be?

-Use 300 DPI minimum at full print size for crisp results
-File must be at least 1 MB to upload
-Design your file at the exact size you want it printed

*The final product quality depends on the original file's quality and resolution.

What is bleed and do I need it?

Yes, if your design goes to the edge:
-Add a little extra around your design (bleed) — typically ⅛"
-For hemmed banners, include a 2" margin and ⅛" bleed
-This prevents white edges when trimming

What about colors and color accuracy?

-Screens display colors in RGB; printing uses CMYK — some shift is normal
-We always do our best to match your colors as closely as possible
-Zurchers is not responsible for color variation between the proof and printed product

Can I use images from the internet?

We recommend using original, high-quality images. Internet images are often low resolution and will produce blurry or pixelated prints.

Will you fix my file before printing?

We review files for basic issues, but:
-We do not fix spelling or design mistakes
-You are responsible for reviewing your proof carefully
-We will reach out if artwork is unsuitable for printing

Product Specific Questions

Can I request hemming and grommets for my banner?

Yes! Please specify these options when placing your order.
-Hemming — a vinyl weld reinforcing the edges to prevent fraying. Recommended for long-term or frequent outdoor use. Include a 2" margin and ⅛" bleed.
-Grommets — sturdy metal eyelets for hanging, placed in each corner and about every 3' on each side.

Can Big Heads include head and torso?

Yes — our Big Heads can be cut to include just the head or both head and torso. Let us know your preference when placing your order. Unless specified for a torso cut, we crop each big head under the chin.

Do stand-ups include an easle backing?

Yes — we offer cardboard easel backings for custom cutouts taller than 4 feet, making them easy to display at your event.

Do the custom mylar balloons include helium?

Yes! Once purchased, balloons will be blown up on your desired pickup date.
*Please let us know if you do not want your balloons blown up on your pickup date

How do I apply custom waterbottle labels?

Simply peel the backing and apply the label smoothly around a 16.9 oz bottle, ensuring no wrinkles or bubbles. The design overlaps at the ends.
Each pack includes 12 labels.

Are edible images food safe?

Yes — our edible images are made with food-safe inks and materials, specifically designed for application on cakes and other edible items.

Can deco-fetti include extra matching confetti?

Yes, extra matching confetti can be added for an additional fee. Contact us to arrange.

Payments & discounts

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit/debit cards, cash, and electronic payments.
Contact us for specific payment questions.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes! Orders of 10 or more of the same custom sport product automatically receive 10% off.
For other bulk orders, contact us to discuss pricing.

What if my organization is tax exempt?

No problem! Contact our customer service department and they will help get your tax exempt account set up. Zurchersonline@zurchers.com 

Pickup & Shipping

Where do I pick up my order?

All custom products are available for pickup at our Zurchers Draper UT location. Orders are available after 4:00 PM on your pickup date.

Do you offer shipping?

Yes! Shipping and delivery options are available for most custom products at checkout. Visit our Shipping & Delivery page for details and tracking info.

Changes, Returns & Issues

Can I make changes after placing my order?

Once an order is in production, changes cannot be made. Review all details carefully and approve your proof before finalizing — this is your last opportunity to catch errors.

Can I exchange or return a custom product?

Due to the personalized nature of custom products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for any reason. Please review all proofs carefully.

How long will my custom product last?

Longevity depends on the material and usage. Banners and signs are designed for durability, but exposure to harsh conditions may affect their lifespan. Follow the product care instructions for best results.

What if there is an issue with my order?

Contact us as soon as possible at printshop@zurchers.com. We'll work with you to resolve any problems within the scope of our policies.

How do I handle damaged or defective items?

Please inspect your products upon pickup. If you find defects or damage, contact us immediately with your order details and photos. We'll review and work with you to resolve it.

What should I check before I upload my file?

Make sure your file:
-Is high resolution (300 DPI minimum)
-Is the correct size
-Has clear, readable text
-Has important content away from edges
-Uses high-quality images
-Has no spelling mistakes
-Is ready to print as-is
